What makes a great laminator?

How about one that uses:
NO Heat  *  NO Electricity  *  NO Odor  * NO Warm Up
& Eliminates Waste.

• NO Heat - Adhesive based system.  Hot lamination needs to be at the right temperature to melt the plastic to itself.  Not hot enough it pulls apart.  Too hot and it ripples. With the Xyron system, once the adhesive is applied it sticks.  It will never peal apart.
• NO Electricity - with no heat there is no need for electricity.  Many schools turn their machines on in the morning and don't turn it off till the end of day sometimes forgetting to even do that.  Hot laminators consume a phenomenal amount of electricity.  A tremendous savings! • NO Warm Up - with no heat or electricity, there's no waiting for the laminator to warm up.  It's always turned on when you want to use it, and turned off when you don't.
• NO Odor - Hot laminators smell because of their glues and solvents which have to be melted to work.  Not with the Xyron systems.  The film will adhere to just about any substrate.
• NO Waste - The Xyron systems use a hand crank to move the laminate forward.  Stop and start your work when you want.  Move your documents through as fast or slow as you need to. With hot lamination, their is a tremendous amount of waste.  Every time you turn it on there is waste.  Between jobs there is waste.  They wrinkle and pull sometimes destroying the work you want to protect!.
• NO Maintenance Agreements - The Xyron laminators are mechanical systems with only a few gears.  They never break unlike hot laminators which over time get too hot or too cold.  Filaments and parts are always breaking needing repair hence additional expensive maintenance agreements.  Not anymore!  * The Xyron 4400 laminator is a 44" wide machine that uses 25", 38" and 43" wide laminate.  Because of the large size laminate rolls, this machine does use electricity to move the laminate through the system.  However, it is still the same adhesive based system and uses no heat.
